FLU VACCINATION 2011

Your annual vaccination against seasonal flu is now due. We are delighted to continue to offer the best choice and most reliable supply of flu vaccines in the UK, all of which are now in stock and available with no appointment necessary.

Standard vaccines: we have an excellent supply of standard vaccines, suitable for adults and children of all ages over 6 months, with special pricing unchanged since last year at just £18.50.

Premium vaccines (adults only): Intanza 9 and Intanza 15 use the smallest needles available anywhere, and are almost painless (Intanza 15 is known to achieve the best immune response in people aged over 60, so is our preferred vaccine in this age group).  Viroflu is a virosomal vaccine with theoretical advantages over other vaccine technologies, and is believed to offer slightly broader immune protection. Preflucel uses an egg-free production process, and is the first ever flu vaccine suitable for people allergic to eggs. All of these are priced at £26.50.

Drop-in service: we offer a drop-in service from 9:00am to 5:00pm every weekday – there’s no need to book or phone ahead. All vaccines are administered by doctors or nurses.

Call-out service: If your work colleagues or family members would also like protection, why not consider our convenient call-out service?

Private GP service: Join our GP membership scheme, and this year's flu jab will be free! The scheme offers up to 4 private GP appointments (normally £70 each) in a 12-month period, including a mini-health check, for just £200.

Despite the very high demand for flu vaccination last year, we were one of the only UK practices to provide an uninterrupted vaccine supply through the entire winter, to adults and children alike.
