Flu concerns for pregnant women

With the possibility of a flu outbreak within the next few weeks, concern grows for pregnant women who have not had a flu vaccination.  While many women are reluctant to have a flu jab while pregnant, conversely they may be putting themselves and their unborn child at risk.   Dr Maureen Baker of the Royal College of GPs explained to GP Magazine that there needs to be an increase in flu vaccination uptake amongst pregnant women.  You can also read a summary of the article here.
